If you can share a few things about your ownership of the Honda Passport, what would it be? The most liked or hated, share them with every one I am sure you won't be the only one.

Couple little things I've notice after about a month of ownership: I would have liked a USB plug to play iPod to be hidden in console like the '16 Pilot. The one in the console is for charging only so you have to use the one that is out and I don’t like leaving the iPod in plain sight. Also, I’m not sure of the placement of the blindspot alerts. I think they would be better on the mirrors or at least not set back so far. I’m hoping in time I’ll get more used to it. Also, if you have the screen on the dash by speed, etc set to navigation last time you drove when you restart the vehicle it's at the menu - think it should just stay at last viewed screen. Heated seats seem to come on randomly - maybe something isn't right? I think every vehicle is going to have things you don't like, Otherwise, I LOVE IT!!!!!! Little tip: telescoping sun visors.

The heated seats don’t seem to come on with remote start in the cold at least not the driver side. I haven’t actually sat in the passenger seat to see. I don’t think the indicate lights come on with the remote to show they are on (correct me if I’m wromg on that) but the seat is cold so I can tell they aren’t coming on. They do the random coming on once I actually push button start.

The seats will either heat or cool depending on the outside temperature when you remote start the vehicle. The indicator lights will come on when you hit the start button to drive away. If the seat heat/cool is just randomly coming on you have an issue and you should get it checked by the dealer.

I've noticed a number of nice "touches". The rear seat belt latches have recesses in the seats so that the seats can lay flat and not leave a latch indentation. The pocket behind the driver and passenger seats has a place (to the right) for a small umbrella. The mini trunk lid has a cord and hook to hold the trunk lid open. Just to name a few.

What I love = styling
What I hate = Price
The price aspect of “what I hate” is my fault. I could of gotten AWD Passport Sport for @ $35,000.00, which would of been great but, I love the creature comforts of the “Elite”.?

Same here/I back up every day in my driveway and just hit the memory button each time not sure about all trims tho so could be a pain / like the auto stop which reminds me of renting a car in England about a year ago with the auto stop which sucked as it wouldn’t kick in until I was halfway into a round-about and it was dangerous asf / the PPs system is 100x better so I don’t mind it and have never had a problem but software update on the mirrors already ? ? ?

I’m having a issue with my drivers side mirror. When I put my passport in reverse the mirror tilts so you can see curbs. When I put the car back in drive the mirror is never back in the original spot so I have to adjust the mirror every time I get into car. Is anyone else having this issue?
I had the same issue when I got mine and took it to the dealer..actually kind of felt silly when they told me it had to do with the memory seats..I set it wrong and took the wrong key fob with me..make sure that when you reset your memory seats you do the same with the mirrors they are connected and when you set driver #1 on your car you have to have the key fob driver #1,,they are numbered 1 & 2.

So there are customizable settings for the mirrors, driver's seat settings, and keyless entry settings for each key fob. Has anyone seen a list of settings that can be customized by driver? I don't see anything in the manual.

Ohhh gotcha. Misunderstood. As far as I can tell the only driver related customizations are the outside mirrors and the drivers seat position (other than lumbar). Everything else is just customizable for the vehicle but doesn't change with different drivers.

I discovered that the keyless entry settings change with the key fob when I went into the garage this morning with key fob #2 and the car responded with default settings (I have customized fob #1). I then read (on a Pilot forum) that the keyless entry settings can be customized per driver. So that led to wondering what else varies based on the key fob used?

The manual says the changes you make to the way the keyless entry works only applies to the key FOB that was used to unlock the drivers door. I assumed that meant you could only customize one (which I also thought was weird). But I guess you could relock them and then unlock the door with the other one and try it out.

Here’s something I hate .. I’ve never seen a backup camera’s view so adversely affected by a little rain. I don’t know if it’s just a poor mounting location or what but it’s useless in wet weather.

I believe Honda is continuing to bring down noise levels in the Pilot/Passport lines, at least with the upper trims. My 2012 Pilot was quieter than my 2005 (my least favorite attribute of the older Pilots), and the Passport seems to be better still. The main reason I was considering a luxury brand was interior noise, and so far I’m happy with my decision to stay with Honda from that perspective.
