Hi All. I'm a long-time lurker and decided to sign up and post a question. I currently have a Ram 1500 crew cab. It's great for the kids in the back as there is enormous space even with their car seats. However, I'm growing tired of a full size truck due to the size, parking it, etc. I don't use the bed very often which is what brought me to look at the Passport. I LOVE IT. I love how it looks, drives, and the back seat room is plenty for two kids in car seats. However, my only concern is what to do when I need to fill up my portable gas and diesel cans. I probably do this 4 to 5 times a year for all of my toys. Having a pickup bed works great. Putting the cans in the back of an SUV is the only thing holding me back.
What/How do you guys do it? I'm not interested in putting the cans on a hitch rack due to the dangers with that. Does anyone use some sort of large tote, etc. to put the gas cans in to eliminate or minimize the fumes?
