Our local Honda dealer made me a pitch today for a 2025 Black edition. I currently have a leased 2023 Elite and I guess they're short on used cars. Mine with only 8K miles on it and pristine would seem to be saleable. The one question that he couldn't answer is if the phone connection is now wireless or not. And if so will it work with 2 phones? I have an Ottocast wireless adapter in mine now but working with 2 phones isn't easy.
I assume you mean Apple Car play/Android Auto. Unfortunately, no 2025's are not wireless. Didn't figure that out until it was already purchased (though that would not have changed my decision).

By the way, I do not use ECO. I had it on my 2017 Accord with the same V^ and did not like the way it ran.
I filled up my Pilot this morning and popped on the ECO just out of curiosity. Nope....a '76 Chevette has more power. Turned it right back off.

Well technically you can use your phone wirelessly by using just the Bluetooth. I just can't navigate on google. I can still listen to my pandora music. Or I can use my little USB adapter for wireless and then I have access to android auto to be able to do more voice commands and navigate. Sometimes I just use the Bluetooth. Not quite as convenient but just push the talk button on the steering wheel and say phone. Then tell it who you want to call. The 2024 EXL did not come with navigation. I prefer Google maps anyway. I don't need to use it everyday when I'm driving around town... just when I'm on a trip.

I have navigation on my 2023 Passport Trailsport which works well so far.
What I'm really enjoying is my free Syrius subscription for 90 days. They've offered me an additional 2 months for $2.99/month but I hate handing out my credit card number and don't know how bothersome they might be when I cancel after that. $$27.95 or whatever is outrageous. I'm enjoying the quiet of this vehicle and the superb sound system. My 2005 Pilot never had much road noise isolation so you really had to crank it up. I've got two more years of 3/36 coverage and will look into the factory sponsored Honda Extended Warranty. All the tech spooks me.

I've had Sirius for 9 years, once my reduced rate ended (something like 3 years in) I called threatening to cancel and they gave me a rate of about $9 (can't recall actual cost). This rate was for 1 year, I'd set a reminder on the calendar of my phone for a week before it expired and played the dance again, and again getting a low rate. Note: if you don't cancel, there is no notification they just charge you the full rate. Anyway after about 4 years of me calling to get a reduced rate, they sent me an email offering me an $8.99 rate forever.

I didn't really have better music with them. Maybe it's changed... but I couldn't customize my music, it was just a station playing the same genre. I couldn't ask for a song or an artist. If you use Pandora or Spotify they're much more customizable than just listening to One station. And all types of genres. I can put it on mix and it will play something from each one of my radio stations at random. We had Sirius, it came free with the car and then you had to subscribe. So we subscribe for a year, I think it was $150. Then we discovered it wasn't that great. It took 4 years to stop them from charging my credit card! They would not do it automatically when I requested the cancellation and they kept renewing it....and then they would tell you you can only cancel once a year right before the renewal day. Don't get sucked into that. I had to call the Better Business Bureau to get them to stop.

Thank you.
I have Pandora and Amazon music free version but a subscription to one might be the way to go.

I do subscribe to Pandora Plus 4.99 a month. No ads. Unlimited skips. It does all I need. I can listen offline. I can search for a song or an artist. I don't care about people liking or having an online posts with any of them. 192kbs is fast enough and sound is great. If download is a problem the premium will let you download at slower speeds. Oh and while using Android auto all I have to do is say OK Google play Keith Urban, or a song and it will automatically play it on my Pandora.

Doesn't anybody own music anymore? I'm sorry I just don't get the whole subscribe for music thing. Must be my age.
Take all that music subscription money and buy your music here.
Then get a USB thumb drive/ data stick...w/e. Transfer that music from your device to a USB stick, then to your Passport in USB port. That's it. Couldn't be easier.
I have north of 600 songs on random play, and have about 15% of memory still available, but I'd gladly jam 99.9% music into the infotainment system...no problem.

To each his or her own if that works for you that is great. For me I like old and newly created music, there are no "free" stations that introduce the music I like. 900 songs divided by 10 songs per CD times $15 per CD = $1350 (give or take) and you've heard them all before. I do buy CDs and put them on a thumb drive, hence having a variety of tunes for my car and motorcycle. I'm currently paying about $120 per year for Sirius that I can listen too in my car, motorcycle, walks and gym. If there is something I like I get the CD. Again whatever works best for the individual.

And I'm over here wishing my '21 Pilot had a CD player. 😆
I know Honda still sells the kit, but I'm not tearing half the dash apart to install it.

I have a subscription to SiriusXM and I'm happy with that. Ozzy's Boneyard, Hair Nation, Octane, Classic Vinyl, The Beatles, Elvis, 60's, 70's, 80's, Tom Petty, etc. 🎶🎶🎶

I've had an XM subscription for almost 20 years in my 2005 Acura, and really like it. If it works for you, call them up and ask for the annual subscription with autorenewal. My last one (January 2024) was $101.83 for a year. I plan on transferring mine to my new 2024 PP after the trial period ends, which is today so thanks for the reminder! Also XM-Sirius is currently offering 2 vehicles for $10/month if you are interested in that. But in the fine print it bumps up to $30/month after a year, so I think I'll pass unless they can contine the $10/month.

I might have to sit down and transfer my CD's to a flash drive. Maybe there's a service locally that can do it more efficiently? I guess there's copyright laws to prevent that though. The beauty of satellite though is coverage nationwide and into Baja.

Personally I m done with CD's. Mainly because if you a buy a CD how many songs do you actually like? I mean, yeah, there are a few of those CD's that do exist that are great tune, after great tune. I can still buy those. I like every song that comes out of my speakers to be a banger, and there are just some songs that just work better for driving imo. I just can't be at someone else's mercy when it comes to my my tunage. Those days are over for me-thank God. Plus I like the artwork to be displayed on the screen. Just looks proper.

I have hundreds of CDs. I have USB thumb drives with 800, 500 etc songs. But I don't use my laptop much anymore. New laptops don't come with a CD drive even though I have an external. It takes a tremendous amount of time to transfer them. I don't want to just listen to old music anymore. I want to listen to country, bluegrass, blues, Cajun, alternative, head banging rock and roll, new artist, even stand up comedy stations. We still play CDs at home on our five disc player. We even listen to LP albums. But the ease of use in the car and the easy access to any song, any artist, anytime. All I have to say is okay Google play Teddy Swims! it certainly worth $4.99 a month to me.
