This sprung up on the wife's PP this morning. Told her how to reset. Hopefully it won't come up again.

Well this message has popped up twice since I posted back in April, most recently this morning. Called the dealer and they said not to reset the system and to bring it in. It ended up resetting after restarting the engine, soooo the dealer said don't bring it in until the message pops up again.

Guess what? I don't want it to pop up again. I'm going to check the battery terminals and load test the battery. I'm seeing inklings about a low battery causing the problem. If that's the case, I'll just throw a new battery in.

Got the same message today, car is like 6 months old. 5600K miles on it.
I literally was at the dealership a week ago...

I guess I need to invest in the jump starter as soon as possible.

I had it happen to me this past September, I have an 2021 Elite and when I checked my battery with a voltage tester it was low at a resting voltage of just 12.1. I put the Battery on my Battery Minder for a few days and it brought the resting voltage up to about 12.8. When I brought my passport into the dealer for a state inspection, I had them test the battery and told them what happened and they said the battery checked out fine also. I had it on a Battery Minder that de sulfates the batteries and is rated for a AGM battery. I also checked the charging voltage and the alternator is charging the battery properly. I suspect the batteries that Honda is using aren’t the best quality, especially with all the electronics and the auto start stop feature. If my battery dies when it’s off warranty, I plan on replacing it with an Optima AGM battery, they are around $330 and very good quality. And they have a direct replacement for the Passport.
Just wondering i experience same.. worst is i almost hit by car on the back.. i was driving and suddenly all power gone. Samae what happen to u and anti-theft show up.
