So, as an update, we've had the issue intermittently for several months. Sometimes it happens several time a day for a week, then you get a full day or two with no issues. Today dealer finally did a thorough inspection of the whole Fakra/MOST and while dismantling the console side panel, the radio immediately clicked and shut off! They strongly suspect the connector/wire behind that panel was the issue. The diagnostic mode revealed the hundreds of shut-off errors. Fingers crossed. We hope it's fixed for good.
Why did you postpone getting the recall done before now despite having issues with your radio?

The recall had been done in 2023 but the screen issue came back in 2024.
This particular recall service requires a high level of electronics skill and knowledge, but the statement - "They strongly suspect the connector/wire behind that panel was the issue." indicates some incompetence or a lot of ignorance about the problem and the specified correction at the dealership you used.
At this point and after 5 years of fixes, TSBs and finally the recall, every Honda dealer should be quite familiar with the infotainment system problem, it's causes and it's resolution. The fact that the FAKRA cable connectors are the issue will not be a subject of speculation at a more competent dealer.
Your dealer also messed up the recall work when they did it earlier (if done at all), that's why the problem came back. And indeed it's fingers crossed that they will do the right thing this time around. If the problem comes back again, take your car to another Honda dealership
