I was wondering what Honda was thinking with this radio on the sport trim not even apple play and to small they should have charged more money $ and put the same radio like the EX-L on the sport
Perhaps, if you are not getting any weird reverberations, it's probably ok. It has more to do with the sub than the regular speakers...I did disable the ANC, but I think it is disabled by removing the factory radio anyway.
You would have to add wires to C5 and C18, then ground one or the other to get the view you want.Would you be willing to share how one might get the standard view back? My install resulted in a fisheye view. I'm also not interested in installing a switch.
Yeah. The Kenwood now feeds the Alpine sub amp with RCA cables and the amp feeds the sub via the factory speaker wires.Perhaps, if you are not getting any weird reverberations, it's probably ok. It has more to do with the sub than the regular speakers...
where did you bought the hardness wire kit? Tap the link if you can , thxThe alpine unit was a bit price at $600 (crutchfield), harnesses came to around $130-ish (pretty expensive), extras $30 (switch, wiring stuff), all in all about under $800. The harness total took me aback when I initially totaled it out lol.
So, I didn't really get an answer here or the short answer. Can the OEM radio in the sport be replaced with the carplay scree (OEM P/N: 39710-TG7-A01). Is so, do you need
any other components to make a it work. The local Honda dealer said they have never done this. I can imagine it hasn't been done to upgrade the sport media to mimic the
EX-L media.
Thanks, I guess i'm stuck using stock backup cam/BT head unit?Probably NOT, as the different models use different Wiring Harnesses...
