I got a few quotes from Saccucci Honda and Hyannis Honda for Honda Care and they were within $30 of each other. Honda Care makes the most sense for me. Why spend $55k on a vehicle then haggle over the importance of spending $1,500 for extended warranty. Its a no brainer. I'd rather have it and not need it.

The more i looked into the AutoGuard it just seems like another 3rd party warranty company in a sea of others.
You mention 2 dealers, can you purchase Honda are from any dealer?
And is there an elapsed time or mileage limit before purchase?
TIA

As long as you don’t live in CA you can purchase from any Honda dealership nationwide. I have heard that you will get the best price if you add the warranty before you have 6000 miles on the vehicle. But you can add a warranty with no vehicle inspection as long as you do it within the 3yr/36,000 mile period.

I recently needed to replace the LED headlight on my '19 Elite. It had moisture in it. I have the Honda extended warranty. They denied covering the repair because "damage due to water" and this is a common failure. I don't know how rain and car washing can be construed as damage. I won't buy another Honda extended warranty as a result of their BS fine print excuses to deny coverage.

I.M.H.O. if there has to be ANY "fine print" then its a SCAM.

Manufacturer extended warranties are always better. 3rd party warranties are basically insurance policies. Repair shops have to submit a claim, wait on approval and usually will have to go through several back and forth with the company before they get the approval. Many will want photos and videos submitted for review before approving. Your car can sit for a week or more just waiting on approval.

Whether or not you should get one is a personal matter. I didn't used to get them but with the complexity of modern cars even simple things can be very expensive. One repair can pay for the cost of the extended warranty.

Price will be more expensive at this time? These online quotes want you to refresh every month with your new mileage. If I remember right 6000 miles it's not considered a new car anymore and the price really jumps? Probably not alot a few hundred. I fell for a little over $200 a year. You can't go wrong. You lose $200 a year if no issues or if you use the warranty it pays for that year or many years. After these European cars I'm been driving with all these issues I need this piece of mind. If I don't use it I'm out little over $1400. 1 trip to the dealer with a European car without a warranty cost me several thousand. My sister's both by Honda. Never buy a extended warranty. But they don't put on 17000 miles a year on there vehicles. I drive like 24000 year I share the load with my summer vehicle.
