Door sill protection

Hello again. Thanks to Utube I've managed to program many features and eliminate a couple too.
I'm looking for door sill protection. Is Weathertech the way to go? Also I think I'll go one of their cargo liners as the OEM doesn't have the raised edges and it's kind of slick in my opinion.

That’s the price for 4. The OEM cover the edge of the door sill and are nice and heavy, not like the cheap ones on Amazon.

My 05 pilot came standard with some stout ones. This Passport has bare steel. The '05 came with door edge guards. I'm going to do those too.

I put some carbon fiber applique across the door sill threshold. Quick, inexpensive, and looks great. If wears out I'll take it up and get more. If and when I decide to sell I'll take it up and it'll look brand new.
