Pump the brakes here. Its true that so far 98% of user's fears in terms of the cars getting messed up have not happened. But lets not pretend that those fears are unfounded. We have ALL experienced hack work from lousy mechanics. ALL of us.
And besides, if everything was just wonderful with our cars and the dealer service was magnificent and spectacular then this group would be MUCH less trafficked. I mean, other than LegoMan, who ever posts "Everything is great and nothing to report?"

This is a good video entailing what needs to be done for the recall.
That's a crazy amount of dismantling and reassembly, the care and attention required is certainly worth more than two hours of labor.
His skill, good lighting and the head mounted camera made the video a joy to watch. Thanks for finding and sharing this.

P.S.
He found a loose nut in the dash at 3.29 minutes, anyone who has reported noise in their dash or glove box area, now you know what to look for. :D

Just completed my second rodeo. No squeaks or rattles. Broken parts? Techs hide bodies. No concern about the menu of faults, hopefully. Good luck. May your systems.not leave you exposed.

I rec'd my letter from Honda this week. I'm close to my next scheduled service and will have it done at the same time. They did the MOST cables on my PPE two years ago when the popping noise started. I've had zero problems since including workmanship.

Where are you located? I know two awesome shops in SoCal and one in Vegas.
After last weeks service, I’m about ready to make a 44 hour round trip back too Huntington Beach for my next service!
I’m still in HB, which shops dI’d you use here? I purchased at Norm Reeves on Beach Blvd.

Just had mine completed last Friday. She was there all day. No rattles or issues With the work. Fingers crossed.

I had the same thing. Connections redone a couple of years back. Asked about it and the SM stated that these new connectors are actually a newer and improved connector version of the last new and improved connectors.

Found this cable under my drivers seat after the recall service was completed. Is this an old cable or new one that was not replaced? #concerned Everything is much improved with the entertainment system audio after the repair a couple weeks ago. I no longer have to completely shutdown the vehicle to get the sound back -- hopefully never again.

Looks like the tech may have left an old cable behind. Go back to the dealer to ease your mind.

Going on 2 weeks since I took mine in for this recall - ZERO issues since with radio crackling/popping etc.

I'll report back in a couple weeks but fingers crossed this is THE FIX.

No scratches on mine that I can see and I'm very OCD with my vehicles.

Per repair sheet, took 1.5 hrs to install/replace/fix the issue.

Time to drive in peace
