Just a guess but perhaps spring rate is impacted by the tire.

Tires with more sidewall certainly helps suspension response but Honda was specifically claiming that the coil springs in the Trailsport trim are different. I suspect it's a plan that did not leave the design floor but the marketing and promotion folks were not informed.

That or purposely misleading us as they have for many years. Remember when they said the TS was going to get a skid plate back in '19? Ha...wasn't until recent that they did so. I'd save your energy for the release, and factual numbers.

LA Auto Show is November 22nd through December 1st. It has been a while, but I think they showed the new 2019 Passport before an auto show. I would not be surprised if they debut a finished Passport on Monday, the 11th, or the 18th. That is just a guess.

It does look nice. Even though we know it wouldn't happen, I submit that it shouldn't happen. For me, it's price tag would totally remove the benefits of buying a Honda over Acura or any other Luxury SUV.
