I saw the post for the 2025 passports but nothing on the 2026. Please share what you paid for your 2026 Passport to help members like me when I start negotiating on mine. Also include added options.

Update
** another factor that I'm seeing is different states have different tax rates. For instance the tax rate in Louisiana is 9.5% but Mississippi is 5% **

As a lurker for a month or so I appreciate the pricing feedback from everyone. My spouse just picked up her basic RTL for $2K off MSRP. Only upcharge was for the sonic gray pearl color. Great purchasing experience with Saccucci Honda. This new Passport replaces a 2003 Acura MDX that served us well with mostly trouble-free 275K miles. Sad to see it go but the pain was eased with the quality and ride of the new Passport. We only really compared Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus vehicles before purchasing. Cheers !

Finally part of the PP club! Sunset Orange & Black TSE, around 50k after discounts. 55k OTD in northern California because of $$ taxes. No accessories/add-ons, other than some door handle film they added and threw in.

I was originally gunning for the brown interior but the dealers with those in stock held firm on msrp. Was strongly considering the green/gray too, but I track in a ton of dirt and mud on trips so black is probably the safest choice anyways.

I would try to cancel the extended warranty and buy it through Saccucci, Hyannis, or Curry Honda since you don't live in California. Probably save close to $1000 that way.

2026 TSE, Sonic Grey

No Factory packages

Dealer packages:
-Propack - 1099
-Window Tint - 499
-LoJack 1 year - 399
-PermaPlate Appearance - 299
-Door Edge Guards - 399
-Pinstripe - Lifetime - 299

MSRP before dealer addons 54.3

Was looking at a cheaper passport farther away but they wouldn't take a deposit. So I called another dealer who was open to a deposit to hold the car, and surprisingly matched the 1st dealer's OTD price even though the one I ended up with had extra dealer add-ons (wouldn't have wanted them though, except the tint)

Hello, long-time lurker, 1st time poster.

Picked up our orange-on-brown elite yesterday at Marysville, Ohio Honda. Elite trim, no accessories. They took $1,000 off msrp + a $367 doc fee. I was really impressed with this place. Drama free (ie. They didn’t try to add on a whole bunch of stuff), efficient in-and-out.

Drove it back to our Louisville, ky area location, and was impressed with the driving experience. Of course, I’m coming out of a 2018 Wrangler Rubicon, so I guess the comparative bar was set pretty low. 😆

Hopped on eBay and ordered the black letters, black Honda emblems, and cargo area protectors from college Hills.

A good deal is more than just the OTD price. I only got $1K off the sticker price but negotiated a lot more than they initially offered on my trade in, a discounted price on their maintenance package and had them throw in the all weather mats and cargo liner. In my state the sales tax is calculate on the selling price MINUS what they gave you for the trade in; so the more money they give you on trade in the less tax you pay.

You should be able to get 4 to $5,000 off of $56,000 MSRP easily. But you have to be able to walk out of the dealership and not many people will do that. They get too deep in the muck and the emotions. I realize that every day that car sits on a lot it's worth less and less and the deal is paying interest on it. Dealership owners need to move metal they don't care if their salesman make a living.

When I see people getting $1,000 off of thinking that's a great deal I have to laugh that just tells me that they refuse to walk out of the dealership.... I started shopping for passports a few months ago and I'm still getting calls from dealers and the prices are coming down but I can wait and that's the thing you have to be able to wait.... Your feet or your biggest tools when negotiating

The times when I received the best price for a vehicle were:
-During the last recession
-Last week of December
-When I didn't need a vehicle and could wait indefinitely until I was offered a price that met my expectations.
Whether or not we are heading towards another recession is anyone's guess, but the latter two are attainable.

Many years ago I bought a Pilot. But not until the dealer met my price and what I asked for. We "negotiated " for a week until I asked the manager if he had met his sales goals that month. His response was no. I said, not surprised. 15 minutes later he caved and met my price etc.
I recently bought a 2021 passport coming off a lease. They gave me their price and it included everything that had been paid for by the original owner. I checked off each item and said no, no ,no etc.
To my surprise, the sales person agreed and reduced the price eliminating charges that I had no intention of paying. Items like window engraving etc. Watch out for dealers charging you for items they already got paid for. Double dipping as it were.

They always cave...... I've never been in a negotiation where I didn't buy the vehicle eventually that I wanted.. Sometimes it took a week sometimes it took a month sometimes it took two months.. But I'll sit on my current vehicle to save $5,000........ Well everybody else is losing $5,000 rolling over THE curb... Everybody wants everything right now and will destroy their finances to do it...... People forget that they have to sell cars to stay alive you don't have to buy their car to stay alive
