I saw the post for the 2025 passports but nothing on the 2026. Please share what you paid for your 2026 Passport to help members like me when I start negotiating on mine. Also include added options.

Update
** another factor that I'm seeing is different states have different tax rates. For instance the tax rate in Louisiana is 9.5% but Mississippi is 5% **

Happy new owner of a Sunset Orange TS Elite Blackout: 50957 + 627 Doc/Title + 4318 Tax - 500 Military = 55402 OTD (no trade). Huge shoutout to Honda West Las Vegas... was told when placing deposit that the online quote given was a mistake but they would still honor it, great team and highly recommended. Ask for Marcus

We ordered one of the dealers allocated red TrailSport Elites to be delivered in the next few weeks.

I no longer think at $50K+ these Hondas are any sort of a bargain or even a great value. We are hoping the quality and reliability is there as it was with our 2011, but on a 1st year refresh, you just never know. $40-45K would be one thing, but these $50-55K+ unit costs are pretty stifling...

The most we can hope for seems to be a reliable and rapidly depreciating asset that serves a good purpose while it loses all that value. The alternatives either had a worse fit for our needs, or lower reliability expectations, or a higher cost with a similar use case. In the midwest where we checked pricing, they are basically the Honda website MSRP. For some folks having Honda Motor corp buy down the interest rates from Honda Finance Corp a couple of points is about the only discount we noticed anywhere.

Costs would seem to be averaging $60-65K for the vehicle + maintenance for the next decade or so... about ~$500-$550/month for the next ten years if you assume say 120K miles over that time and ignore fuel or any financing costs.

These are currently rare as hens teeth around here. No dealer seems to keep more than one or two and the more in demand package/trim units are gone usually when they arrive.

I really hope the new Ridgeline will get the Passport looks and refresh or maybe even better.

I cast a wide net (anything east of the Mississippi) when looking for a 2026 PPT Trailsport Elite. The Midwest did indeed have some eye popping discounts, but I worked 2 dealers in the DC area working the Memorial Day sales. One had me at 53k plus tax (with $700 in accessories) OTD for a Sonic Pearl Elite Blackout. The other had me at 51.5k plus tax (with $900 in accessories) OTD for a Sunset Orange Elite. I went with the orange and I'll black it out later....super stoked! My big pumpkin! : )

I definitely felt like Jeff Wyler Honda Auto Mall | New and Used Honda dealer in Louisville Kentucky (Louisville KY) was working with me (ask for Marco) and I was comparing their prices across all the Wyler dealerships (there was one in Cincinatti too I think) to come to an agreeable price. I also so a good price (51k ish) in Minneapolis and at Honda Blanc in MI outside of Detroit I think...but I didn't work those as much as KY. Good luck! BONUS*Came across this car search website late in the game* Wish I had it from the start....it's pretty sweet: Visor | See the whole market

Back in January I Got Barbour Hendrick in Greenville to scan dealers build sheets for an Orange Elite. He did not want a deposit and looked for a few eeeks before one came up and he traded one of his other allocated cars for it. Still didnt want a deposit, even after he confirmed the arrival Date.
I was not worried about the options but did not want full size internal spare since it would take up space where I wanted to put a .bike.
the best thing was he agreed to leave off all those dealer add-on options.
He gave me the add on list and told me he’d install them for 15% off of listed price, so I got all weather matts, roof bars and that plastic protector forthe cargo area and backs of rear seats.
Gladly paid sticker price once it arrived in late March.
unfortunately it doesnot have as much usable space for my bikes as my Element does, so I’m at a loss for what to do with it.
I am disappointed in the technology aspect, my 2103 Audi A6 has a lot more tech tricks when it comes to alternate sources for music (it has a massive ‘jukebox’ in addition to two flash slots) and how to play it, its cruise is much more intuitive (it doesnt downshift and overcompensate when try to get back to set speed) and its just generaly all aroud ‘smarter’ AND gets 30+mpg on the road at 75-80mph.

USB ports for flash drives isn't better tech. It's like saying your 1977 Ford Thunderbird had better tech because it plays 8 tracks. Can your Audi connect wirelessly to your phone, integrate with your voice assistant, download apps from the Google play store and give you a 360° view of your surroundings? It also sounds like your Audi's cruise is slow to get back up to speed since it doesn't downshift to accelerate. And you can't possibly be comparing the fuel economy of a car to a SUV built for off road use. It sounds like you bought a car that doesn't fit your needs, buyer's regret. It's not the Passport's fault.

In Virginia, wife and I bought his and hers trail sport elites, orange (me) and ash green. $2000 off msrp, and they also credited her $600 because she saw the 2026 when she was in having the brake pads and rotors replaced on her 2019 passport for $600 and they gave her a $600 credit towards the new vehicle in addition to the money off the MSRP. Also threw in A set of the all-season floor mats for each of us.

Man did you misread a lot of stuff…
i dont stream music, so that doesnt impress me much, but yes it does wirelessly connect to my phone if I wanted to do so… it doesnt show text messages tho and thats fine with me since I dont text and drive.
360 is cute the first couple of time, after thatI would prefer turning lamps that come on with my turn signals.
slow return to set speed by minimizing downshifts will save wear & tear, and I am happy with that.
yep, its a blockly SUV supposedly built for off road but with a 10 speed transmission and smaller engine I would think it could do better than 22mpg …
no real regret, other than internal space for my bikes being less than my Element, but just a fair comparison of the tech that I expected a a vehicle that is 13 years newer than my Audi.

so, lighten up Francis… its my prerogative to post what I’d like, spare me your opinions on my observations.

Your criticism of the Passport is because it doesn't fit your personal preferences. You broadly claimed a 2013 Audi had better tech when very clearly it doesn't come close to the tech in the Passport. Maybe the Passport is a bad fit for you but that means you didn't do your due diligence in research and test driving before purchasing.

Also if you don't want anyone to comment on your observations don't post them on a public forum. We all have the right to express our opinions here.

You guys are funny, I enjoy watching you attack me on a personal level because I dare state something negative about your choice in cars.
and you both continue to misunderstand… In response to the topic I stated that I paid list price, got a good deal on some accessories and didnt have to try and negotiate away N2 tire fill, security stickers, undercoating, etc…so I am happy with the car at the price I paid. Yay!
just because some of the features I use on my Audi arent in this car doesn’t mean I am remorseful, I am just surprised that Honda is so far behind in certain things…sorry you’re butthurt over that opinion.
I am happy to read your original opinions on your cars in your posts,, just confused on why you’re compelled to postyour negative opinions of me and your short sighted opinion of my statements on my posts.

Trailsport Elite.

$52,450 (MSRP)
-2% = $51,401
-$500 (Military appreciation)
+$300 (Tint)
+$700 (PermaPlate)
+$2000 (15 yr, 150,000 mile Protection Plan)
----
$53,901 + Tax Title License
Minus trade-in

Here's the breakdown of the MSRP direct from Honda:
RTL: $44,750
RTL Towing: $45,450
TrailSport: $48,450
TrailSport Blackout: $49,650
TrailSport Elite: $52,450
TrailSport Elite Blackout: $53,650

I'm a horrible negotiator. Probably could've saved $5000 if I haggled a little. But from what I've seen, Honda's don't depreciate as much as other brands. Probably could've held-out for the 2027 model, but it was time.

Ask for nothing higher than 2% below MSRP for the trim you're asking for. I saw a post from someone who was able to go as far as 14% below MSRP. Check the MSRP below, and if it's higher than what you see there, it's a markup.

Official Honda MSRP

Fees to avoid:
  • Dealer prep fee
  • Advertising fees
  • ADM (additional dealer markup)
  • Delivery fee / Destination fee
  • Nitrogen fee
  • Insurance / GAP Insurance
  • Theft protection/ID etching
  • Document fees (this is a total scam)
  • Processing fees (same as document fee)

If you want to pay cash, it might be a good idea to take out a loan - they can probably get you better deals if you agree to a loan, but if you do so make sure they don't have an early pay penalty.

I was thinking about waiting for the 2027 model, but with all the tariffs for parts and stuff, even though they're assembled in the US, not all parts are, so if I were you, I'd go for it.. If you wait 'til the end of the year, I'd just wait for the 2027 model. Flip a coin. :)

The discussion of OTD prices is meaningless unless we know what state the sale is taking place. Here in Western Washington, sales tax is 10% and registration fees on the order of $500. So I need to negotiate better than 11% off the MSRP to get it out the door for MSRP. Doable, but I'm not getting 10% off MSRP out the door at the beginning of a model year unless times are really bad....

If you read my post I added that my tax rate that was 9.5% here in Louisiana and I got it at 57k out the door. I was just focused on out the door price.

2026 Trailsport Elite Pearl White. Sorry not going to post what we paid...... but I will say. It was below sticker price including doc and title fees. We did not purchase any extended warranty paint protection or another "add" on. Clean sale no trade. No financing.
I made them an offer they countered. I said can't do it. We walked out. My phone rang before we got home 30 minutes away. New Hampshire no sales tax. Live Free or Die
