I saw the post for the 2025 passports but nothing on the 2026. Please share what you paid for your 2026 Passport to help members like me when I start negotiating on mine. Also include added options.

Update
** another factor that I'm seeing is different states have different tax rates. For instance the tax rate in Louisiana is 9.5% but Mississippi is 5% **

Suggest you also watch caredge videos on YT for strategy.

What has worked well on all our Honda purchases is MSRP minus 10% for an OTD price, though often we ended up with MSRP minus 14%

Always ask for OTD and always steer request to ask only for an OTD price. Never disclose a trade before you have an OTD price.

All our Hondas (all models) were purchased sight-unseen, never visited dealer, never phoned dealer, all communication was via email.

We stopped into a local dealership today to test drive a 26 Passport trail sport elite and make sure it's what we wanted. We like it. The salesguy said 59k out the door. Now we have a starting point.

Interesting. I have a 2021 Passport. It didn't come with mud flaps/guards. I bought ones made by Weathertech. They are totally useless. The height of the vehicle and the length of the mud guards is such that mud just sprays on the sides and back of the Passport as if the mud guards didn't exist, and even the back of the mud guards got dirty.

60,000 for the TS Elite. That’s right around or below MSRP for me in orange county. Not the best deal, but feels not horrible for my area. While shopping around, dealers were starting at 7k over MSRP. Agree 100% with negotiating online. Check out this perfectly pleasant conversation I had with one of the dealers in Orange County.

Did you try Honda World Westminster?

Are you a Vet or in a Credit Union?

I'm in Indianapolis. Yesterday, I traded my 2019 Passport Elite for the new 2026 Passport Elite. The sticker with destination and handling and a couple of options was $54,665. I negotiated $1,800 off the sticker and got an additional $2,000 for my trade with 145,000 miles on it. And they agreed to throw in the rear cargo mat. I know I could have done better had I waited another six months when the newness of this Passport wears off and the dealer lots are full of them, but I needed a vehicle and have been waiting for the new model.

2026 TrailSport Elite, non-blackout, white, brown interior:
Zimbrick Honda, Madison, WI
Costco Auto Program
No add-ons
54355 MSRP
- 1000 off MSRP
+ 399 Doc fees
- 25000 trade for my 2020 Ridgeline, 53K miles
+ Tax, title, license (IL)
———
$30,972.50 OTD

Never set foot in the dealership, all email communications. The Passport is being built this week with expected delivery early to mid-May. I visited four dealerships nearer me, did the Honda search for my car, found two scheduled for dealers, one in the Chicago area and one at Zimbrick. AutoNation Honda (Chicago) insisted on face-to-face and over $500 in add-ons, no thanks. My closest dealer, Honda of Kenosha (WI) insisted on $2300 in add-ons, but "negotiable" no thanks. You're the customer, don't let these people dictate your $55,000 purchase. Just say no. I'm happy to travel 100 miles for a fair dealer and deal.

$51,610 before tags and tax. TSE with function package. Around $460 to add black emblems and splashguards. Debating spending another $1,950 for the 7 yr 100k mile warranty

TSE Blackout with HPD & Pet package Sonic Grey paint bought in Dallas 4/18. Factory sticker including destination $56.904 + dealer add-on (mostly markup, tinted windows, protection package, ZakTek, 48-month extended service plan = $61,027. Paid $55,420 before TTL and negotiated $5k above what they offered for trade ($3k above KBB range). Seems fair enough for a new release that's in demand.

I bought my trail sport passport over a month ago and was up charged for it. I paid just under 60 for it but was happy to have it early. My mom always told me many years ago never cry over spilt milk, just march forward.

I've been emailing dealerships, and it looks like they have no choice in customizing an order. They are saying when one comes in, they can let me know. This don't sound right.

"Okay. It is a process that we have to go through. so in about two weeks is when he will be able to request a car and then honda will et us know if they approve it or not. If we get an approval then I will reach out to you with pricing."

I went through a similar experience. I went in February and told them I wanted to order a Green/Gray 2026 PPTSE. They told me "that's not how it works". They checked what they had already been "allotted by the factory" and matched the combo I was looking for. They then told me that they had 2 that were scheduled to be built/shipped to their dealership in a few months. I put a deposit on one and when it arrived on the lot I ended up buying it.

I picked up our Sunset Orange TS Elite last Monday. We paid $52,826 OTD, no trade-in. They even gave us both free baseball caps and my wife a Passport keychain. Everything was done via email and text.

Sunset Orange
TrailSport Elite
Black Emblem Package
All-weather mats
Auto-Dimming Mirror
MOLLE Panels

Couldn't be happier. (y)
