I've been driving a 2009 Nissan Cube for 12 and a half years and decided it's time for a new ride. I only test drove 3 cars: Toyota RAV4 (wife hated it), Honda CRV, and the Passport. I was looking for a compact SUV since I've been driving such a small car but both my wife and I LOVED the look of the 2022 Passport (it wasn't even on my list and I knew nothing about it until we saw it at the dealer).

We saw an Elite in the showroom but they didn't have any in silver (I'm not a big fan of the new Sonic Gray Pearl that everyone seems to love). They just happed to get two silver TrailSports delivered yesterday so we headed down and bought one.

I've only owned it about 12 hours but I love the car so far. My wife has a 2014 Pilot (2004 CRV before that) so I guess we are officially a Honda family now.

Great looking, congrats, and welcome to the forum..

If you don't mind telling, is your dealer bumping prices up from MSRP?

No, my dealer charged MSRP, plus some dealer "add-ons", some of which were optional and others not. I was able to haggle a bit on those but MSRP was firm (I knew that going in and was okay with it). Not the most ideal time to be buying a new car but I like to buy new and keep them for 10+ years.

The sales guy did mention that other dealers in the area were marking up over MSRP but this dealership wasn't. I know he wasn't lying because I saw Tellurides going for $52K+ and Broncos going for $60-70K+, so overall I'm fine with the price I paid.
