Some people would argue that a SUV is suppose to be “body on frame” , which I use to think too.
In my opinion SUV stands for
S= sport “paddle shifters, some what fast, Cool wheels”
U= utility “Lots of cargo area, 5,000lbs towing capacity, top of the line AWD”
V= vehicle “ gets 5 people from point A to point B in comfort”
That is my reasoning for choosing the Passport as a SUV..

To me if a AWD vehicle looks like a car its a crossover.
If a AWD vehicle looks like a suv then its a suv.
