Yakima Railgrab System

Hello all, just brought home a 2020 PP Elite last week and glad to be part of this group. I've searched the current discussions on roof rack systems but have not found an answer to my particular situation. I've got the Railgrab system from Yakima, meant to work with factory roof rails. I used it on a 2012 GMC Acadia with no issues, but cannot find any information on using this with the Honda. Does anybody have experience with this particular system for the round bars? If I need to buy new equipment I will likely just go with the factory crossbars. I intend to use cars for hauling kayaks. I will also soon be adding the hitch, harness, and hands free adapter probably purchased from Bernardi.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Bernie

The Yakima Railgrab is an older setup that I don't believe they sell anymore, but I don't see why it shouldn't work with the Passport rails. The only problem may be that your round bars are not long enough for the Passport roof.

Thanks guys, actually got them out of the attic today and I'm happy to report they will work great. I believe it's the small cleat I'm using. Only thing I'm not sure of is if I should set a certain distance. I will email Yakima and post the answer here. Not sure how popular this system was, but I'm thrilled I'll still be able to use it.

By the way, it's the 60 inch bars I have, and have about a hand width of bar outside each mount.
Glad to hear the Railgrab system works. I have the same but I have to buy longer bars. I'll be posting the OEM Honda crossbars for sale that I won't be using.

I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship. If you're interested I would be glad to check. The retail price is $235.13.

i would suppose it be alot for normal person as they are long box compare to dealers who get cheap rates.

Below YMMV

Rates i got from both dealers around me were $195 plus tax, while ebay honda dealers are selling $180 shipped plus tax. so im still not sure if i should wait for black friday deals coming up few months from now as i am not in rush to buy them but they are def on the list before road trip next year as ill be needing them for ether honda box or an basket.

thats why i said its def good price if anyone's local for $170.
Yeah, I would just wait to purchase. I did mess with my old Yakima rails and they JUST fit the PP so I can use them as-is. Lucked out.
