Hi everyone. Thanks for looking.
My new Elite's wireless charger doesn't seem to be working. I own a larger phone. It fits in the charger, no problem there.
However, after I do get it lined up, and that takes a minute, it charges for about 1 minute or so. Then the green light blinks.
I've used a phone case and taken it off, same result.

This isn't rocket science, if it was, I could understand.

Any other large phone users, not a phablet, but more than 6 inches, out there? Anyone else seeing this?

I've got a Pixel 6 Pro & it works fine on the wireless charger although I usually have it hooked up with a cord for Android Auto. The 6 Pro is 6.7"...

Wireless Chargers are very random it seems, a lot of it is the phone as well. If I remember correctly the iPhone 12/13 series have had numerous issues with non apple branded wireless chargers (right after they started selling it’s own apple branded wireless charger, hah!).

Even if you can get it it fit properly, the first bump will probably misalign the coils anyways and it will stop charging.

Galaxy S20 here, I use wireless chargers all the time right now. Desk, Bedside. I have AA wireless now, was hoping to leverage wireless charging in the PP too. It "works" for about 30 minutes tops for me and then the phone says it's pausing because it's too hot. I'm not sure what is happening, but for reliable charging on longer distances I have resulted in plugging in. First world problems I guess...

I have an iPhone 13pro and a 21 passport elite and I can't get the phone to charge more than 3-5 min tops. It just stops charging...I don't even use it now.

I dug pretty deep on this issue, and to save you many headaches, I'll just share this: the wireless charger is extremely hit or miss depending on every model of phone. You either get lucky, or you don't. Plenty of forum posts scattered around the internet on all forums (pilot, odyssey) where people have spent days working with dealerships, getting it replaced multiple times, etc. If I wasn't concerned with the retail value of the car, I'd likely take it apart and see if I could mill out/retrofit a different wireless charger on there, but alas...

For whenever you're ready to give up, I turned mine off in the settings menu just so that it wasn't going to try to heat up anything else. Sorry man. You sound as disappointed as I was... I'll also throw in that I use a 12v adapter from the socket in the center console. And can just tuck the cable right back in when I'm done with it. I use the separate 12v usb adapter because I figure car use can be rough, and I don't want to short out the electronics that are built into the car (resale value!!! 😁)

Agreed that when it works it is very slow. So much faster via a cord.

Honda acknowledges they are having a problem with wireless charging on iPhones on some of their vehicles.
Don't know if they resolved the problem yet

i personally think its magsafe tech to be blamed on iphones.

Our family had old xs maxs and 11 phones till last year and wireless chargering was working . now we have 13 pro maxs that we have upgraded to and now the wireless charger will not charge them, it will show charging for couple secs and wont charge after it even with an case or without. but if still put my old xs max or 11 now then it will charge just fine to 100% but not my 13.

same story for 1 of my desk night stand wireless charger, it will not charge my 13 pro maxs but will charge the xs max & 11 with didnt have magsafe.

The wireless phone charger in my 21 Passport does not charge. Had at dealer twice. Put in new and still no fix. Tech said it is a problem that has been showing up. Said they are going to send out recall notices. Anyone else having this issue?

It doesn't work reliably for most that have posted here. I can get about 20 minutes of charge from it before it starts to cut off and on.

Mine goes in and out. Charges for a few then seems to lose "connection". Then starts charging again. Then repeats. Will be bringing mentioning this issue when I take to dealer for driver seat lumbar fix

So far Honda electronics have been disappointing along with their cheap paint. Based off feedback the drive train seems to be good.

On here because my new 2022 Elite wireless charger isn’t working, charges for half a minute then shuts off. I been in and out of Honda and they seem to not figure it out. I gave up. This car is also a gas guzzler ! And radio stations are staticky! I might just trade this car in for another .

Gas guzzler? We just drove from Seattle area to Tahoe. Flogged it in the mountains, 85+mph with the flow of traffic up Donner Pass 25mpg+
816 miles door to door. We were expecting 20ish on this trip.

I think yours is the first 2023 Passport mentioned here, are there any changes from the 2022? Does it still look like the 2022 Passport?
