Use newspaper
Use newspaperIt seems that whatever I use my windshield is streaky after cleaning. My other vehicles do not. This is really weird. Anyone else experiencing this?
What cleaner are you using and do you use paper towels or a cloth?
Thanks
Is it dusty or sandy where you live and you are just gunking it up by cleaning the window? It seems that whatever I use my windshield is streaky after cleaning. My other vehicles do not. This is really weird. Anyone else experiencing this?

Not real sandy. Just a smearing on the windshield after cleaning. I have been using ammonia free glass plus and paper towels. I might try a different cleaner. Is it dusty or sandy where you live and you are just gunking it up by cleaning the window?
We have so much sand in the air in HB and even though I park in my garage, unless I wash my entire vehicle, the window always has a light dusting of sand on it.
I supposed it’s possible the cleaner is bad?Not real sandy. Just a smearing on the windshield after cleaning. I have been using ammonia free glass plus and paper towels. I might try a different cleaner.
I will try that. Thanks!I supposed it’s possible the cleaner is bad?
Have you tired a vinegar & water soliton?
I use it for my mirrors in my apartment because winded gives me a headache.
I don't know if this is what you mean but I've noticed vertical streaks on the windshield when it's raining hard and the wipers are on. It's almost as if the streaking is inside the windshield -- like it's stuck in-between 2 panes of glass. Cleaning the outside of the windshield doesn't get rid of it.... and cleaning the inside of the windshield doesn't get rid of it. Very frustrating. It seems that whatever I use my windshield is streaky after cleaning. My other vehicles do not. This is really weird.
