Not something I did to the PP, but for it. Completed these today after working on them for a couple of weeks. Bought a roll of Reflectix from Lowes. Taped sheets of paper together for the window templates. Cut the Reflectix and sewed an edge on, like a quilt binding. PP doesn't fit in garage so it has to stay outside unfortunately. Also is my "nice" car so it is usually only driven on weekends or long trips. Did this to keep the sun from constantly hitting the same spots on the interior everyday. Take down and roll all up together, secure with velcro cable ties and store in Heytrip trunk organizer in cargo area.

Wedged paper into seams around edges of window frame. Taped the pieces of paper together until perimeter was connected. Traced along edge with pencil. Then cut the Reflectix about 1/2in larger than template so when I stitched the edge on they would wedge into the gap at top and bottom of front and rear windows. Stitched a small piece of rigid plastic into the top of the small cargo windows to go between garnish and glass to keep in place

Cool, any chance we can get close up of your stitching and the stitched plastic piece? I'm not entirely getting what you did here.

The cargo windows were the first pieces I did. Not entirely happy with how they came out. I learned a lot while doing those that changed the way I did the other windows and I will probably redo the cargo windows in the future. The edge material is rip-stop nylon leftover from a garage door screen I made over the summer. I changed to a polyester material for the other windows and cut bias strips so the material would stretch easier around the corners and curves. Also went to a wider stitch for the other windows. The Reflectix material slid a lot in sewing machine even with a quilting walking foot. So the stitching is nowhere close to perfect. But is good enough for what it is.

The plastic piece is inside the sleeve attached to the screen edge in the below image. It is just a rectangular piece of plastic cut from the plastic case a Dewalt chalk reel was packaged in that I enclosed in the material. Hope that clarifies. Probably more info than you were asking for.

Good idea. My Passport is also my nice car and is garaged most of the time. I take it on my longer drives. I‘ve had mine over a year hasn’t been in snow yet.
