Wind noise?

Has anyone else noticed that when you get over 30mph you can hear a slight wind noise from near the drivers window area ( I think). And before anyone asks about windows etc yes they it’s all closed up tight. If you have the radio turn up you hardly notice it. But if the radio is low or off I can hear it clear as day but can’t figure out where is coming from.

Yep, same issue here. I had the same problem on my 15 Accord, so I don't pay much attention to it.

I think some wind noise is inevitable. All-in-all, my Elite is very quite. It compares with my 2018 F-150 Platinum and my brothers RX3500. I am coming off a 2015 Mazda3 that was the noisiest car I've ever owned. I haven't put a meter to my Elite but my Mazda3 ran from 75 - 80 DB at highway speed. Too loud.

Followup
My Elite runs about 60 - 65 DB at speed. Since this scale isn’t linear, 80 is twice as loud as 70 which is is twice as loud as 60.

I had this issue too...all windows were up, I got out to check and make sure all the doors were shut. It turned out the passenger seat vent was on high and I didn’t see the blue light behind my water bottle! Drove me nuts!!

I just thought it was a little strange, I have a Lotta cars and fortunately none of them of ever done that. It’s my wife’s and she is coming off owning a Lincoln which is quiet as hell so that’s why I grab my attention

Kinda - It’s more like the giant water bottle holder ?
Which has worked much better since gluing the river rock under it for weight.

Probably wouldn'y hurt to mention it to the dealer, could be some misaligned weather-stripping..

The dealerships around me can barely do a simple oil change so I’m not sure that I would give them the challenge of figuring out a wind noise. That’s exactly why we had to get ours out of our Area. We have 3 dealers in my town and they all are rather “special”.
To those experiencing the wind noise issue, which trim line do you own? My understanding is the Touring and Elite models have additional sound deadening not found on the lower trim lines.

I’ve not experienced any material wind noise on my Elite. It’s the quietest Honda I’ve owned to date.

Mine is a touring.

Same thing happened to me. I thought my Elite was awful noisy with fan noise, not outside wind noise. Turned out I had all three bars on my seat fan going. Took it down to one bar and all is well.

Mine is a touring model so it does not have a cooling seats. So mine is most definitely a wind issue.

So glad it wasn’t just me!! I was on a road trip and had to pull off the highway several times!!

I think it would take a good two months to fully understand and use all the features on our PP's. In addition, the seasons of the year will also have an impact e.g. who uses the A/C in Minnesota in January? Who uses the heat in Arizona in July.
I own a Touring and personally I find the wind noise to be negligible, especially for a Honda. As point of reference my previous primary car was a Mercedes E Class and it was "tomb-like" quiet. Honda was never known for producing quiet cars but I think they've come a long way.
The reason I started this thread was just to make sure I was not crazy and I was not the only person I had this issue. I currently own nine cars and I’ve probably owned more than 50 over the course of my life and I’ve yet to ever on one that I could hear wind noise. Except maybe my 62 corvette. So yes this is the first one of any new ones I have ever bought that had wind noise. I understand that Honda is not a high-end brand, personally I just expected a little bit more for my brand new car That I wrote a 38k check for. That’s all.
What wind noise?
I have an Elite with the added sound buffer. I think the Passport is extremely quiet. Very pleased!
