We have 13 Kia Optima, purchased new, now has 116K miles on it.
Knock on wood, it has never been in shop for anything more than required maintenance. Most reliable car we have ever owned.
One set brakes
2 sets tires
1 battery
New alternator because of mis-diagnosis by body shop(dumbasses)
Just did spark plugs, coolant and serpentine belt
Our 18yo son has now, PP replaced it.

It has a lifetime, unlimited mileage warranty on shortblock from engine recall...this was/is huge recall.
No reason to get rid of.

I was saying when you think your Honda is sub par that others have issues too. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'll take a hood latch issue vs a car catching on fire because oil is being dumped into the catalytic converter.
