Wheel Locks?

8666 Views 17 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  ProdGirl
Hey Guys, I just bought an Elite (with black wheels) and was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a good set of wheels locks for it. I'm thinking that these wheels and tires might be pretty attractive to thieves.

Thanks,
Steve

If you have a discount tire or America’s tire they can order you wheel locks. I also had them add their tire guarantee to my tires. Both packages were about $250.00 in So Cal.

I think the locks alone were about $50?

You can order them on amazon or probably even eBay. The Honda part number is 08w42-tk4-100.

Thanks, I'm also in SoCal. My concern is more about the wheels than the tires and I'll check with Discount Tire because they're not too far from here.

Thanks for the link!
Thanks for the link!
Sorry, but I just wanna make sure that you're absolutely sure that these will fit a '19 Passport, before I place my order?
Yes sir I ordered them from eBay for ours. Here is a link to college hills Honda website it’s a good source for Honda parts even if you’re just looking for a part number

You’ll see the code which is the Honda part number then the vehicle application list towards the bottom.

Perfect! I appreciate the link because I'll be buying some other accessories too.
Yeah I didn’t purchase through the college hill website but I used it to get the part numbers for the splash guards, cross bars, cargo tray and wheel locks then I ordered them all through amazon and eBay for less! So the part numbers they provide are definitely accurate!

Thanks, that really helps!
I would say to purchase the ones they offer through Honda. They do have black wheel locks because I almost purchased them.

Well, I felt secure for a short time.
Well there are ways around just about everything, as long as you don't park your PP in a dark ally in Compton for a few weeks, I'm sure you'll be fine...

LOL, you're right, I'm probably being just a tad paranoid. ?
Any thing is possible BUT, good luck trying to break these. www.rimlox.com they will have to earn it for those wheels.

Be paranoid! I got my Passport EX-L less than a week ago and yesterday my neighbor's 2019 Accord was found wheel-less and sitting on top of 2 milk crates. I installed wheel locks after seeing that. I know these are just deterrents but also looking to upgrade the alarm.

The sport wheels are in hot demand for thieves with the Accord. No surprise here. Many people have had theirs stolen. Rimlox will keep them away to some degree. They have to work for them instead of just pop and go with regular wheel locks.
Wow. That’s messed up and one more reason I am adamant about parking in my garage, even one as small as mine!
