I see a lot of people here have had multiple Honda's which got me thinking about the earliest model year that you all have owned, I'll start:

I had a 1978 Honda Accord Hatchback, it was silver, with a manual transmission, bought it used in 1980 and drove it until I bought a 1985 Prelude.

I have been loyal to Honda because my first Honda the 97 Civic I was in a horrible accident and walked away with just a bump on my head.

You guys are lucky!

My first Honda was 92 Accord, bought new. It gave me lots troubles just over 60K miles: radiator broke when I went to Mt. Hood taking pictures; starter failed after parked in the front of a grocery store; oil seal of crank shaft failed or leak when I driving on the highway. All these make me hesitate to purchase the new passport, although it is very attract to me.

I learned to drive on a 77 Accord Hatch with a stick. Just loved that car but it was a rust bucket and only lasted until about 1982. Our family has owned quite a few since, usually Accords or CR-Vs.

^ All with a manual transmission. Honda manuals were so smooth and so much fun to drive.
Then a '96 Audi A4 with quattro and became a loyal Audi owner through 2008 when I converted to Land Rover. Still have 2 Land Rovers but our twins start driving soon. I need to add something less expensive, more reliable with all the modern safety features to the family motor pool. So I'm back to Honda. Was 99% sure I was going to buy a CR-V until I saw and test drove the Passport.
