I bought the Touring model specifically for the power folding mirrors. Makes it easier to get in and out of the garage. Make sure to turn off your parking sensors or the car will beep like crazy. The heated rear seats are great for my son when I pick him up from swim team.
I was aiming for the touring as well because of the mirrors, however, after 2-3 months there were still none in the modern steel in CA, NV or AZ...I was willing to drive that far for it!

So, the elite was an upgrade I didn’t really plan on.

Heheh. I back into my 2 car garage with a brick divider in the middle. When I back up, yes back and side warnings are going crazy. I've been getting close as possible, folding in the mirrors, backing in further, then unfolding the mirrors to finish parking. Once I made it in all the way without folding in the mirrors, nervously watching. So I know it can be done, just don't always feel I have the clearance. This Passport is wider than my Highlander, so I'm still getting used to backin in.

I live with the warning bells n whistles while I back in. But does scare heck out of my pup as we return from dog park. He's getting used to it.

QUICK QUESTION: Is it ok to manually fold one, the drivers side mirror, by hand instead of both by motors? I used to fold in my unpowered, Highlander driver side mirror when I backed in abit wonky. Then push it back out once done. peace, e.
Oh, this parking dilemma you have, I need to see a photo of!
Not sure about folding the mirrors by hand, I haven't tried to see if it’s possible,

I had to back in my CRV, so I can access the washer & dryer but it was 8” narrower. Parking this beast is challenging!
