Want to order Wireless Apple CarPlay Adapter!

Does anyone has experience with Wireless Carplay Adapter which can convert your Wired Carplay to Wireless! These products lack of review makes me hesitant. If you had one, please kindly share you review about it, I will be appreciated.

car2playair is the one to avoid that i know of. company is a rip off.

I bought the CarLinkit 2.0 on Amazon and it seem to work ok for a bit and then my infotainment got all glitchy. Carplay would completely lock up or flicker and my XM station would change. I haven’t had any issues since I stopped using it but the problems did seem to start after the iOS 15 update so maybe, the device needs to be updated as well. I also realized that, as nice as it was to be wireless, I can live without it for now.

Yep, I saw lots of negative news about this brand “cplay 2air”

Thanks for your info. Maybe the device needs to update to fix the problem. I also want to buy one because I get nut by the cable CarPlay. Could you mind tell me how much did you spend?

I paid 120 usd. Not sure if its the device or iOS 15 but Carplay using usb has froze up on me a few time. Android auto appear to work without incident.

Installed it yesterday. Works as advertised with almost no delay. I actually get a longer delay directly wired to the usb in the “ashtray” compartment.

I’ll give it a few weeks or month and let you know how it’s holding up. So far so good!

Thank you for your reply, bro. $120 seems a bit expensive for me. Recently I find an adapter and feel good. Im preparing to buy it.

Please post pictures of the entire set up while it's on.

at site says in unstable w 2019-2020 passports

End of the month motorola is releasing MA1 for $90. Fingers crossed but a well established company vs a unknown company. You still never know though. I will be giving it a try most likely.

I ordered the CarlinKit 3.0 to add wireless CarPlay option. It's available on Amazon, but cheaper if you order directly from their website carlinkitcarplay.com. NOTE: it ships from China but takes 2 weeks to arrive. I had no delay with USPS surprisingly.

It seems to be of No value to Apple mobile phone users

A week update- it works equal to if not better than plugging into the usb port. Only had to do an initial setup. Occasionally it takes a few seconds to register but most of the time it is already connected by the time I start the car. Very happy with the purchase. I also did the wireless charging mat upgrade with the 2019 module and harness and turned the rubber mat 180 degrees. My Iphone 12 Pro Max and Iphone 11 both charge wirelessly now too.

Just purchased CarlinKit 3.0 Mini from Amazon. Paired it w/ my 2021 PP Elite. No problems so far.

Purchased CarlinKit 3.0 Mini from Amazon for my 2020 PP Elite. Slight lag time in the response time and audio, but with the dog in the car and/or driving between job sites I often forget to plug my iPhone in to use CarPlay prior to pulling away it has in a week already paid for itself.

Similar price, maybe you guys should take a look this one which launch on Kickstarter. More function: wirelessly connect your smartphone to CarPlay or Android Auto and enable screen mirroring, TV cast, USB player.
