How do I turn on the electronics to get a system update via wifi but without the engine running? I saw something about double press the start button but my vehicle starts. I did it without pressing the brake pedal and nothing happened. So what am I missing here?

It basically says after you have selected the update you can have it install after you have turned the car off and walked away. - I guess I will try this.

Curious, are you asking the question because you received an update notice? The reason I ask is because I'll check every now and then to see if there's any updates via wireless and it always comes back that "the system is up to date." Also thought it was odd when I was watching a You Tube 2020 Passport review and the screen shot of the display showed a number 1 on the system update app. Other than a Garmin update to the navigation I've yet to see an update since my purchase in beginning of October. To which I think Honda is long overdue with some updates to their Honda Sensing.

I purchased my 2019 Touring in March (2019) and and a few months later I received notice of a systen software update. I ok'd the update. Prior to the update "My Honda Music" would not accept MP3 uploads from a flash drive. After the update, uploads work fine. Other than than I didn't notice any other changes to the system.

Someone said that there is going to be a software update soon, but I bet it's for the infotainment system, not Honda Sense. Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky.
