Help, I can not find anyplace to use the metal key on my 2019 Elite. How would one unlock the car without a working key fob?

Keyhole in driver's door handle, just like on your old Accord ?
thanks for the info, I am guessing that the key hole is behind the black rubber plug on the two front doors.

You can also use the key to lock the glovebox.
I don't recall even seeing an old fashioned key for my 2020 EXL? I'll have to dig in glove box.

you won’t find one. They’re integrated in the key fob.

I see said the blind man.
So whats all the talk about the holes in the door handle? Also, I had no idea I could lock glove box with fob. Crazy.
Thanks

There's a small latch on the back of the key fob. Push it to the side and the metal portion of the key fob will come off exposing the key. Which inturn can be used on the door and the glove box.

Those type of fobs are great for valet as well (I used to run).
You pop out the key from the fob, lock the glove box with the key, and give the valet the fob part (without the metal key). Now they can't unlock your glovebox but can easily unlock and start your car to get it back!
I remember when I had a problem with the key, I browsed literally the whole Internet. Really, I watched tons of different videos about mechanics and things like that. But unfortunately it didn't help me much. So I just contacted an experienced locksmith in Arlington and that was my best decision, IMHO. I was too naive and self-confident trying to repair everything by myself. It turned out to be a meaningless waste of time. Moreover, I added one more problem to my daily routine. So now I prefer to contact the service and don't worry in vain. Mental health's really important.
