Turning off prompts from the system

On my Passport Elite, the system is always trying to give me "helpful" hints about what to do next. For example, after I say to call someone and the system recognizes the name from my address book, the system then asks if I want to call the person. Obviously I do or I wouldn't have asked the system to call the person. On my Ford Sync system there is a way to shut off the "helpful" questions that once you know how to use the system are no longer needed. Does anybody know how to turn off these "helpful hints?"
