Trash Can for Use with All-Weather Floor Mats

I purchased the Vehicle OCD console organizer off Amazon yesterday, and while I was there I saw the Carbage Trash Can, which I thought was a cool idea. The issue is that it didn't look like it would work with any of the all-weather floor mats that I have. I figured "how hard can it be" (in a Jeremy Clarkson voice), and decided to build my own.

I went and bought a small trash can from Target, and from Home Depot I bought 4 ft. of aluminum flat bar, and black-colored bolts, washers, and nuts. I cut and cleaned up the aluminum, bent it to the correct angle, drilled a few holes, and voila. After making sure it worked, I then Plasti-dipped the aluminum in black, and it looks like it will work just fine.

The most expensive and time-consuming part was the Plasti-dip, otherwise it was about $10 and an hours worth of work.
