Since the 2019 Passport will help to bridge the gap between their two current crossovers we can begin to speculate a starting MSRP. With the CR-V starting from $24,350 and the Pilot from $31,450 we will probably see a retail anywhere between $27 and $29k.
I wonder why Honda wouldn't announce official pricing during the reveal. As we already know exactly where its going to sit in their lineup, I think you're dead on with the estimates.
My guess is that is it NOT going to be priced in the middle of the CRV & Pilot. The reason is that is has the same platform, engine, transmission, and the same or close to the Pilot: the dash, stereo, seats, wheels and other safety features.
So I'm thinking it will start around $30k and top out at about $48k.
It they price it too much under the Pilot, they would end up stealing sales away from it.
Can't wait to see the pricing, with Passports now rolling off the Assembly Line, Honda should be listing the pricing on their website, any day now...!
