Hi all, we just bought a new 2022 Passport and got the tire and wheel insurance for around $530. Is it worth it to keep this? For some reason I thought there would be a full warranty for the tires, but the financing guy said there was just a basic warranty against mfr defects, however road damage was not included.

I advise against getting this product normally and based on what you have shared it sounds like it is not worth it at all. If you can get your money back I can tell you what I would do.

I recommend Americas tire or Discount tire depending what state located. I went the other day and got 3 year warranty for the cross contact lx sport for elite for 135.52. Might be lower in your state. I live in CA. The cost to replace is then 34.13 to replace each tire. The cost to replace one of our tires would be about 330. Hope that helps.

Just to clarify, the warranty is for 5 years. I may cancel it, I think we just have to pay for the first month but they'll take the other 59 months off our payment. The tires are Continental which I think are pretty decent. I don't believe I can return the actual tires at this point.
