In early July of this year I had the JSport lift kit installed on my 2021 PP. A few months earlier I had already swapped out the stock wheels and tires for 18" wheels and tires. Right after the lift kit was installed I drove about 1700 miles to a house I own in a western suburbs of Denver CO to do some sweat equity on it for a couple months and supervise contractors (while working for my employer). The car never quite felt right after the lift kit was installed and aligned. It kind felt like it was floating and I noted it drifted a little to the side something which is a bad sign. I took it to the Boulder Honda dealership (a great dealership!) and as I suspected the 4 x 4 mechanic's alignment subcontractor completely screwed up the alignment and managed to uncenter the steering wheel. The Boulder Honda dealership fixed all of that but noted that the JSport lift kit positioned my front rear tires in a flat spot in the wheel well and when I turned my front tires hard into the locked position they rubbed against the back of the front wheel wells - on the driver's side more than in the passenger side. The only solution we came up with is to go to another 4x4 shop and ask them to press put the back of the front wheel wells by about 0.25 inches. Has anyone else who installed the JSport lift kit encountered this issue and what year is your PP? I wonder if this issue is new to the 2021 model.

I meant the rear of my front tires were positioned in a flat spot in the front wheel wells.

Have you checked air pressure? Mine did the same thing and felt floaty like was going side to side, turned out psi was too high and over 50 (which was max for mine).

Odd, I have almost exact same setup and have no issues. What wheels do you have? I have the Terra Grappler 255/60 R18 M+S tires on KMC 18" rims.
I have these tires (which did not rub in full lock before I had the JSport lift): Continental Terrain Contact A/Ts 265/60 18 tires. The primary purpose for me getting the lift kit was so that I did not have to worry about what brand of 18: A/T tires I put on the car. I thought the lift would provide me more clearance for chunkier tires than the Continental Terrain Contact tires, instead, part of my tires have now been placed in a flat vs more rounded area of my wheel well. It was the Honda service advisor in Boulder CO that told me to look into finding a body shop to press out my front wheel wells about 0.25 inches and told me about that flat area. Do you have a 2021 PP or an older one? This could be a new phenomena for the 2021 cars.

2019 Touring Model here, no lift kit, Continental Terrain Contact A/Ts 265/60 18 tires on Black Rhino Arches wheels.

I have rubbing on the passenger side only at/near full lock.

I may look into your body shop recommendation...

After taking my Honda Passport Elite to the 4 x 4 shop in Boulder Colorado, I got the bad news that there are no after market parts available to adjust the alignment of my lifted vehicle to eliminate tire rubbing if I wanted to keep my Continental Terrain Contact A/T tires in 260/60/18 size with the j-sport or any other brand of lift kit in place. Either I remove the lift kit or change my tire size. So I called J-Sport and told them how their lift kit caused my current situation and asked them what tires I should buy. They said to buy Nitto Terra Grappler A/T 255/60/18 tires. When I asked if any brand of A/T 255/60/18 tire would fit in my lifted vehicle they said no because there seems to be no set specification for tires and manufacturers had different levels of slop in their "personal" specifications for any particular tire size. When I told him that the Honda dealership said I my vehicle only needed another 0.25 inches of room for my tires to clear the wells when I turned sharply, he said that a greater than a 0.5 inch difference in tire size measurements between manufacturers was unlikely and I would probably be safe with most 255/60/18 A/T tires. The Boulder 4x4 shop said I was the 3rd lifted 2021 Honda Ridgeline/Pilot/Passport this year that he witnessed with this problem so clearly Honda tweaked the wheelbase a little for the 2021 model year. I now have 5 Continental Terrain Contact A/T 260/60/18 tires with only 2000 miles on them for sale if anyone is interested. The car and tires is currently in the Boulder CO vicinity and in about a month will be about 40 miles west of Philadelphia,PA. The front tires have minor rub marks. I won't be turning my wheels much on that 1700 mile drive home on the interstate so the rubbing should not get much worse due to that drive but the mileage on the tires will have increased. I have no way to transport those 5 tires back to PA except mounted on my car so will not be buying the Nitto tires in CO unless someone wants to buy my Continental tires from me while I am in Colorado.
