I am looking at replacing the OEM wheels with 18” ones and would like advice purchasing a quiet, smooth riding tire that will help tame the firm suspension. We don’t see a lot of snow, so that is not a big concern.
Thanks

Oh boy, this is Pandora's box. There is quite a few postings in the wheels and tires section of the forum, especially on 18's. I don't live in the snow or need it for that purpose, but I just swapped out my 20's for 18's and I had Falken WildPeak AT 255/55/18's installed. I don't notice much road noise difference, but I do notice a heck of a smoother ride, especially over any road pits, irregular road changes or speed bumps.

I would probably consider the Michelin Latitude Tour or the Bridgestone Dueler LX for your criteria. Maybe the Yokohama YK-CTX too.
