Yeah totally hear you. I can understand an app being awful several years ago when many companies were starting to app-ify their vehicles, but today?? It's inexcusable. Having used the Ford app for 3 years I can honestly say it was so much better over 3 years ago than Honda's is today-- and even drastically more so now. Not only that is all of the functionality I cared about in the Ford app (lock/unlock/remote start) were 100% free to use. They had some premium content but nothing I needed. HondaLink was built entirely with a subscription model as the primary focus (3 of them, actually) rather than functionality. I uninstalled it within days of using it, logging some bugs and not sure if I'd ever go back. From the look of it, it would take them over a year to even make it presentable and by that time my "free year" subscription would be gone. No way am I giving them a dime to use basic features.
