Anybody else have a subtle rattle that sounds like it's coming from passenger dash area? Very subtle, you would need radio and air off to hear. Almost sounds like popcorn popping inside a metal pan.

This is second passport I've heard it in. Exchanged first one after hearing the noise right away. The one I have now didn't start making the noise untill 1 month in.

Waiting to see if gets worse before having dealer look into it. Not sure I want them taking things apart!

Did the noise ever get better? Or did they find out what was causing it?

This may be the same noise I'm hearing, from front driver side in my case. It could be like popcorn popping but to me it's more like subtle clicking noise. It's most audible when rolling out from stop going up to 40 mph. Brought it to a dealer twice but they couldn't hear it. The noise can be loud one day and can be subtle next day but I hear it most of the time. I'm assuming it's coming from the front suspension, maybe the strut mount. If I grab the roof rail and rock the body, I hear the front driver side suspension click, and I think that's what I'm hearing while driving. I'm hoping it gets worse and consistent so that they can nail it down.

What exactly are you doing when the noise occurs? driving straight, turning, going over bumps, is it a single noise or does it repeat over and over like from the wheel rotating?

The noise is repetitive, whether driving straight or turning. Road can be smooth or rough, but the noise doesn't seem to be triggered by going over bumps. Here is the video of driving normally (headsets recommended to hear the noise).
And suspension clicks while rocking the car.

I can’t hear anything in the driving video, just road noise.
In the second video that kinda sounds like a loose sway link. Have you crawled underneath and had someone else bounce the vehicle while you grabbed onto the sway links?

I have noticed this same noise as well, seems to be getting more frequent lately. I may be too fussy about this kind of thing but it really annoys me when I'm driving without the radio on or fan blowing. The car is so quiet otherwise and this tapping noise ruins the experience. Did you ever get this sorted out Jalbert300?

The tag on the passenger seatbelt was making quite the annoying rattling sound.

I thought it was coming from the glove box, then I thought the seat itself was rattling. Only happened when moving at road speeds.

I noticed it looked like the seatbelt tag was rubbing so I reached to tear it off (not possible with bare hands while driving) but crinkling it up made the frustrating annoying noise go away!

YMMV

I always cut off those white tags on all the seatbelts on every new vehicle I've purchased. I do it only for cosmetic purposes. (OK, maybe I'm a little OCD that way.) However...I save those tags as they have a number of them you might need reference to if there is ever a recall on the seatbelts.
Yes, that can happen. When I worked as an RV service advisor a number of motorhome brands all had defective seatbelts from a certain supplier.

I've observed many times, over many different buggies, over many years, that the seat belt clip (shown above the tag) can/ will vibrate against the nearby door pillar. Possibly by your pulling on the cloth tag you shifted its position to where it's not currently in position to make this noise. If the noise returns check it out.

Off the subject but I just remembered this: my father (RIP) was a Buick, Pontiac, LandRover owner/ dealer back in the late 60s/ 70's, 80's.
I discovered one of his late 60's Pontiac demonstrators had mis-matched door pillars, one side was black while the other side was beige. As the car interior used both colors nobody had noticed it previously.

I got no finders fee.

These things are so hard when not everyone has them. Could be anything from glove box door to visor mount to anything under the hood that would transmit-back into the cabin on the right side.

My favorite rattle experience was with our Nissan van where it seemed the front end might come-apart. The dealer couldn't find it, and it turned-out to be as simple as: the two rubber "bumpers" at the front lip of the engine compartment, that were supposed to keep the hood from rattling, needed simply to be un-screwed (lefty-loosy) a tiny bit so they pressed more against the hood. Took a couple years before I found that!

Unfortunately the seatbelt tag or clip is not the culprit for me. (I was hopeful, that would have been an easy fix).
I thought about underhood or other exterior sources but the clarity and presence of the tapping convinces me of a much more local interior noise.
Mine sounds like a gentle but annoying tap..........tap,tap. Not at regular intervals, definitely random times with no obvious trigger. I thought rough roads would consistently cause it...nope. Maybe speedbumps...nope. Braking or accelerating...nope. While it does happen sometimes during the aforementioned scenarios, I can rarely duplicate it at will using these scenarios. Super frustrating!
Imagine a freshly sharpened #2 Pencil, and gently tap the point on your desk at random times. Sounds like its coming from the passenger side at ear or eye level.
I've been tempted to take the plastic pillars off or the plastic above the passenger window to investigate, that would probably break some clip in there and then add more annoying rattles.
Thanks for all the suggestions though!

Same noise, I just took the tag off, lets see what happens!

Tag removal wasn't my issue, I will keep looking.

I have the same sound coming from (I THINK) the passenger side behind the dash. It is driving me crazy. I have only 600 miles on the odo. I really don't want to have the dealership tearing things apart.

The cabin air filter is behind the passenger's side of the dash. Check behind the glove box and the cabin air filter. Cue the video.

I doubt this will solve your particular problem but my mysterious noises turned out to be a sun visor that was not clipped in and the other was the keyed lug nut in the glove box. I have had extremely good luck with Hondas. Almost every other car I've ever owned was cursed with unsolvable, intermittent squeaks or rattles.

That reminds me of another source for rattles... overhead holder for the sunglasses. If it is the sunglasses, you may have to re-orient how it sits inside.

My Passport made a noise very similar to jpms95's first youtube video back in August. I brought it to the dealer 2-3 times for them to analyze. They adjusted the front fender and bumper but the noise was still present. I kept complaining about the noise and finally they contacted Honda HQ who instructed them to use "Chassis Ears" sensors. The Chassis Ears are placed on several locations on the front area of the car and the noise was loudest at the left front strut. Dealer removed left front strut and lubed mating surfaces on strut and body. I have not heard the metal to metal ticking noise since they did the lubrication on the left front strut.

I was actually at the dealership today for this issue. It was the driver side, seat frame. They replaced it,but driving home I heard the noise again. Gonna wait till my drive to work tomorrow to be sure. Rattle starts at around 60mph or faster. The tech had to pound the seat to hear the noise.
