Anyone that has taken out the stock head unit, does the back of the stereo have a spot for an HDMI? I want to mirror my phone screen to the head unit but don't want to go through the hassle of taking out the stereo if there's no hdmi port.

You can jump on eBay and look at a used unit. They usually have pictures that show the back side.

I poised this question to my Magic 8-ball and it said "Don't count on it"...

Unlikely to work even if there was HDMI as the display is firmware and software controlled to do car functions like navigation, audio, cameras, parking sensors, etc. There is definitely no firmware or software for any HDMI input. In diagnostic mode, there is no module visible for external inputs either.

Car makers integrate their head units with the car sensors and audio and info package but don't really allow much else. I'm 99.999999% sure there is no HDMI without even looking.
