This may be a stupid question but the instructions for the current software update says to “turn on power” and then follow the instructions to update the software. Does “turn on power” mean to start the engine, or just press the Start button without depressing the brake pedal?

Mine updated in the engine off accessory mode and finished during a short drive to the store from there.

You can perform the update with the engine off, but make sure your car's battery is in top condition and fully charged because the update may take as much as 20 minutes to complete.

I did mine in the garage using my home's WiFi, engine off, lights & climate control off, and accessory mode on. It took 30 minutes
