Seat Back Protector Questions

1342 Views 7 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  YATYAS
I know the seat back protectors require installation (hole drilling for snaps, nuts, etc.) but do the protectors easily snap on/off (for removal and cleaning)?

Are they pretty good quality? Like the trunk protector. Or are they thin plastic?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Once the rivet is installed, the head turns into a snap button. You can take them off very easily. They feel very similar to the trunk liner.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll definitely give them a try.

I used industrial velcro on the backs to hold them in place, it's holding nicely. I've had other cars that have used velcro as well from the factory.

I have them on my Elite. Haven’t bolted them in place yet. Heavy velcro holds them most in place.

Just like the replies above, I’ve mounted both the tray and seat back protectors with liberal amounts of hook Velcro, they don’t move a bit. The OEM ones from Honda are really nice quality too. Good luck!

I see ot people have replied to you and I had my Honda Dealer do the install on them. I had every accessory option Honda has installed on our 2020 Passport Touring, I would have bought the Elite, but I didn’t want those black rims, I loved the gray wheels, they reminded me of the Crager mags from the 70’s! I’m so glad I had those back seat protectors installed on mine and I’m sure you will be too! The only non-Honda accessory that I installed myself was Interior LED lights and they are amazing! College Hills Honda want $70 for the kit and I bought my off of Amazon for like $10.00! I just watched a YouTube video on how to change them and it was super easy to do. Speaking of light, I had Honda install “Welcome Lights” on the side and rear, very cool at night!
if you have any questions, I’m here!
