Any idea why someone broke that window? Were you parked in front of someone's driveway?

my gym bag with shoes was in the trunk, I think they thought it was something of value, it was parked on the street in DC
What a PIA!

And a fear of mine.
In all my years of Honda’s I had one broken into.
They stole dirty dry cleaning parked outside of my grandparents home that they had lived in for 50+ years at the time!

I’m in NYC so I know what it’s like. That’s why I got the cargo cover. The latest thing here is the are stealing catalytic converter’s and the wheels and tires. My neighbor had the catalytic converter cut off his Ford van just last week. 😡

Sorry to see that OP. This is a good reminder to for myself out of sight out of mind. I use the rear cargo storage compartment a lot but I do tend to leave some stuff out near the console like my sunglasses.

:( Oh wow - that does really suck. Hope insurance can make you whole on this one.

On a positive note - the way the color of the blue changes with the light looks really cool - Great color choice on your Passport!

🍺 Hope you can get fixed up soon.

Sorry about the heathens in (correction to) D.C.

INSURANCE NOTE:
If you have comprehensive coverage and your belongings being stolen out of your car also resulted in broken door locks, broken windows or a broken ignition system, then your comprehensive coverage will cover the repair costs to your vehicle (in excess of your deductible amount), but it will not cover the cost of the stolen items.

*As I suggested in the broken windshield thread, any and all of you need to call your insurance agent/broker or company and change your comprehensive deductible to $100. The savings is negligible to have it higher than $100. Additionally, when you file a comprehensive claim/loss, it does NOT count against you in regards to affecting your premium rate. Unlike a collision loss, a comprehensive loss is not your fault.

Also, the stolen (removeable) items can be covered by renters or homeowners insurance via a separate claim. Assuming that deductible isn't higher than the item(s) that were stolen in the vehicle theft.

I can only lead you to water so many times folks.

exOC_Kook you are correct they are hethens but in DC. Sadly, this world it has become a Godless society and people don't feel there is any higher authority they will have to answer to in the end. Ironically, in izzy97's picture there is a crucifix above his Passport. One could only wish that the person that did this would have looked at it and had second thoughts.

If people would spend as much effort on legitimate jobs as they do in illegal endeavors...
Same goes for scrounging for recyclables and cardboard boxes to write beggar messages for change, EVERYDAY. Just go to a real job, everyday. /pet peeve from a person that's been legally employed since he was 15.5 yo

you would think having no window there would be some priority to get you one… no safelite sucks… luckily I found a dealer 30 miles away who was the only dealer within the 100 miles who had in stock and was able to get the window fixed after over a week of having no window!

WOW, that just sucks. Like rubbing salt in a wound.
I'm glad to hear you found a dealer that could help you.

I too have been continuously employed, during my brief existence, however, you have to know where a person started their journey, before you cast a shadow over them...Listen to this guy
