So I just install Oem cross bars on my rails
And they wouldn’t slide easily In the rails.
Right after I took cover and screw off the rail they slides in easy but right after 1 inch or so they get tight and won’t slide.
so I had to hit them by hand on both sides to get them going. Doing so they scratched the rail after the cover.
soon I realized there not going to go in without scratches so and Since I had already scratch a bit part of rail so I just tapped away and get them to the dimple marks.
I did had the screws loosen up a bit and try it bit tight still same results. And yes I did install them correctly marked left for driver and right For passengers sides.
So now I have white mark/ lines inside the rails. I did rubbed with cloth and few of the marks or scratches I think they are went away but few still remain.
not that it would hurt but I still like to try an options to hide them or fix them.
Any ideas to remove them?
thanks
