Unless your Honda dealer has a decent body shop, I would suggest take it to an independent body shop. Just curious, did you also bend the bottom section on your garage door?
Unless your Honda dealer has a decent body shop, I would suggest take it to an independent body shop. Just curious, did you also bend the bottom section on your garage door?Since my life was going so smoothly I had to mess things up by backing my 2020 Honda Passport out and hitting the shark fin antenna on the bottom of the garage door. The antenna doesn’t sit flush any more and I am pretty sure I bent the roof and broke the seal between the antenna and the roof. I have put plumbers tape around the antenna as a temporary fix to keep water out of my beloved Passport. Should I take this to my Honda dealership for an appropriate fix? I contacted a PDR guy who told me to go to a body shop.
Anyone else pull this bonehead move? Any suggestions / ideas?
I sure did, took the bottom right off. I was about 1.5” from clearing it. Crap!Unless your Honda dealer has a decent body shop, I would suggest take it to an independent body shop. Just curious, did you also bend the bottom section on your garage door?
thanks, I would take a picture of it but it won’t really show up (the dent) until the antenna is removed. Right now there is about a 1.5 mm gap on the back side of the antenna. Currently have plumbers putty sealing it until I get home in a couple of months.Without seeing a picture of the damage its hard to make a recommendation . You could try a few different PDR guys and you might get lucky.j
