All of a sudden, the remote start stopped working (press lock, then press and hold the circle icon for remote start). No settings were changed. Went back into the vehicle settings to confirm, and both features were enabled. I disabled them, then re-enabled them and still no luck.

Anyone else have this problem? Didn’t expect this from a Honda. Also, this past weekend I was playing the radio with the car off while I installed the window visors. I noticed the skipping sound in the music. Looks like electronic crap is hitting the fan. Highly disappointed. Didn’t think I’d need a visit to the dealership after only 1,000 miles. And... the lousy ACC acting up by stopping for no reason, and apply the brakes in a pulse-like fashion to slow down. Feels and sounds like ABS is kicking in to slow the car gradually, not in an emergency situation.

Mine had an issue a few days ago with the remote start.

The lights flashed, it started but then shut down after a couple of seconds. I got in and the front passenger window had also rolled down?

I was able to manually start it at the button, shut it off, then the remote start worked fine? No issues since?

I keep forgetting to see if it needs an update?

You may be onto something. I think I have a coat in the PP with the second key. I’ll have to check in the morning.

I also wonder if something is draining the car battery or if there’s anything wrong with the battery.

Speaking of second remotes, I need to replace the battery in my key to my wife's Accord. It beeps at me and displays a low battery warning every time I drive her car - which isn't that often.

Did you try to remote start more than 2 days in row? I know that my remote start only works twice without getting in the car to start it normally. When I called and asked the service department, I was told that with the remote start it can only be done twice. Good luck and let us know how it turns out for you.

It never started. So no, no double remote start attempt.

@mtgriff, you’re the man!! The extra key was in my jacket inside the PP. False alarm on the remote start and walk away lock issues. Other problems still stand.

I haven't had any audio issues, so I don't have any advice for you there.

You also complained about the ACC. Were you following someone who suddenly changed lanes or turned to exit? That can cause the ACC to brake. I've also noticed when I get into heavier traffic where everyone slows down, then the ACC stops working as well and will brake a lot. That's when I usually turn cruise control off.

The brake alert and rapid braking occurs on a road that is 35 MPH. When cars turn off the road about 200 ft in front of me, and are completely off the road, ACC slows the PP down quickly, and the orange brake alert screen comes on. System is definitely not working properly. When I take my wife’s 2018 RAV4 XLE on the same road with similar condition, with ACC on, that system behaves just fine. It’s night and day.

Had another false alarm with the remote start not working. I washed the PP today, and wiped down the door jambs, so I had to open every door. The front passenger door wasn’t completely closed, so the remote start feature wouldn’t work. Fully closed the door and remote start works fine now. Driver error..... 🙄

I've noticed if I close the tailgate and walk away before it is closed, then the car won't lock. You can tell if this happens to you because it beeps rapidly.

That happens to me very frequently. Don’t understand the logic. Why doesn’t the system just finish locking the hatch, and then lock the PP? The rapid beeping is obnoxious and unnecessary.
