Looks like a new recall is out but as of right now only pertains to one single Passport? Curious to see if that number grows any or if there is in fact only one Passport out there with missing body welds..

Apparently this is a Service Bulletin, not a recall. Big difference. Owners are notified of a recall. Service bulletins are usually performed when an owner complains about a problem.
Surprising that this is not a recall as it affects the safety of the vehicle in the event of a crash.

Interesting, I'm thinking they reviewed their auto-weld data and found 1 vehicle that the welder may have not been functioning properly.

The Honda recalls are put out as service bulletins. It is a recall, and yes the one person will receive an official recall notice by mail (USPS willing)

Yikes! "We forgot to weld some things, this could result in disaster"..... You would hope they would review machine logs BEFORE they send each vehicle out.

Interesting. I always thought service bulletins and safety recalls were two different things. Apparently not so with Honda. Thanks for the information.

I read if they find that your vehicle is affected they will buy your vehicle back.
OR give you a new one..... (no details provided) hence slow walk any response until 2020 is out.. if you want a passport.. if you want cash for another brand that is easy let them buy you out.
