Does anyone know if the privacy glass on the rear windows has heat reduction and UV protection? I’ve been trying to find this information but I’m not having any luck..

When I got all my windows tinted my tint shop told me almost all of the factory tinted glass offers no heat reduction, heat reflection or UVB protection. It’s basically done for looks.

ceramic is what I did on my passport.
it seems cooler than whatever I had on my CRV, it wasn’t ceramic - but I also spent 99% of my summer in a cold dark theatre only getting a few dark days in No Cal where it’s much cooler!

I did ceramic all the way around, 45% on the windshield, and 5% on the other windows.

Well I’m not gonna trust a tint shops word being that they are trying to sell window tint haha, especially when they say that privacy glass has no UVB protection, because all glass blocks UVBs pretty well, just not UVAs. I was just really hoping to find specs on the glass to verify heat and UV protection. I’ve heard of some vehicles using glass that provides this protection from factory, was just curious if ours did considering it’s a $40,000 vehicle lol!
