Hi fellow PP owners. I just got my black/black '20 last month. I added some purple lights for the MAP & dome. I love my passport and this small touch makes me love it more.
I order them off of Amazon & it was easy to install myself.

Could you please expand on why you chose purple, my thoughts are that they would look real dark and not really light up as much as the clear (white) LEDs.. Do they provide more or less light than the standard bulbs did?

Well, there is a sponge Bob Squarepants air freshener hanging from the rearview mirror and some beads...
I'm thinking, stoner, hippie, groovy vibe working there. However, I cannot smell the Sandalwood, Frankincense, or Patchouli.

Actually, no clue. Probably just thinks it's cool and unique, which I'm so down for. ☮

I just wanted something different, they are way brighter. Purple blue and bright white were the options I found that had somewhat good reviews on Amazon. It's just for looks because I don't usually do anything in my car that requires light like reading at night or anything like that.

Curious on how you accessed the bulb for the map lights? I figured you could use a tool to pry it down but not sure entirely and don't want to break any clips. Thanks
