Maybe you are getting notifications (text, fb alerts, etc.) on your phone and it is lowering the volume? Otherwise, haven't experienced this.
Yep, that happens to me.Maybe you are getting notifications (text, fb alerts, etc.) on your phone and it is lowering the volume? Otherwise, haven't experienced this.
Or, perhaps you are getting navigation directions with the nav volume turned all the way down.Maybe you are getting notifications (text, fb alerts, etc.) on your phone and it is lowering the volume? Otherwise, haven't experienced this.
Were you by some chance launching CarPlay in error? Hands free dialing is Bluetooth dependent so the car should not give OS (CarPlay or Android Auto) related error messages. After my update, performed by the dealer at a service interval, my 2020 EX-L no longer recognizes my Samsung Z-fold 3 phone for hands free dialing. I get a "not a valid iOS device", which makes sense as it is an Android
I had a different problem as a result of latest software upgrade, it blew away my app controlling my factory installed CD player. The service department at East Coast Honda in Myrtle Beach SC quickly pulled it back up with no appointment needed. The upgrade blew away my home address and recent trips but that's no big deal to me. My feedback to Honda was to let the owners know of these changes ahead of time...no reply as if today. So, I dutifully performed the software update that Honda recommended. Of course I lost all my navigation history, but another problem reared its ugly head. I listen to books on Android Auto while I am driving. Since the update I can be driving along listening and suddenly the volume decreases momentarily for several seconds to about one fourth of the volume setting, then it comes back up. This happens sporadically, but constantly occurs. Has anyone else experienced this?
Tom
Does the same to me if I use the lame voice controls. NOT AN IOS DEVICE.After my update, performed by the dealer at a service interval, my 2020 EX-L no longer recognizes my Samsung Z-fold 3 phone for hands free dialing. I get a "not a valid iOS device", which makes sense as it is an Android
