Hey all,

Just wanted to get an idea if this is a reasonable out the door price in arizona.

2019 Red Passport Elite

Fender flares 819
Roof rack cross bars 121
Roof basket 300
Low profile hood air deflector 165
Body side molding 277
5K tow pkg including ATF cooler 1512
All weather floor mats 182

Total out the door cash price $47900

How do those accessories price out? Meaning, have you checked online prices for those items and package them together?

The vehicle price seems pretty good (over 4k below MSRP).

Way too high on accessories by about 1/3

Thanks. Ill get to work on the dealer or consider removing some that I can get aftermarket for a better price. Fortunately Im in no real hurry and can try waiting out the dealer for better numbers.

That price for the car itself (Elite model) at $39,795 is very good IMHO. I'm in Florida shopping for one and the best quote I have for an Elite is $41,259

Other prices were:

$41,259
$41,364.99
$43,XXX.XX (I blanked after the three when he told me - Too bad too because this is the guy I want to do business with, if he doesn't match the lowest then he won't get the business)
And another dealer that simply said "I'll match the lowest to get your business, I don't want to lose it"

The Internet is a wonderful thing. Makes it so easy to get the numbers lined up before even leaving the house.

Did you checkout those prices at the service dept?...totally different profit center...much more reasonable...only downside is you cannot put those items on your car loan.

Update: I have been able to get one of the last two dealers to come down to 47.000 OTD. I think that brings the price of the accessories more inline with what a couple of other forum members have pointed out. I was targeting 30% reduction from original quote on accessories. This equals about 20% but with what it seems as an already good price on the vehicle itself I may pull the trigger. I will give the last remaining dealer a chance to beat it. If not im going to give them the order.

Does anyone happen to know what their markup is on their Honda care extended warrantees?

Check out college hill Honda if go that route, I believe 1398.

Might have been able to squeeze a little more but I wanted to get it done. No luck on the Honda care 120k miles. They wouldn’t budge off of $1865.

Should take delivery by Friday night

So buy it at college hill Honda if still interest for 1395. Cool color that is the color of my Honda Element. Have fun with your little guy!
