Going to do the Jsport leveling kit. I ride a lot of backwoods roads in AK but will also use as a commuter. Looking at 18s. Will need lots of traction and ground clearance. Probably going to go with Hancook I Pikes maybe studded. What size will be optimal?
Ordering the same kit as well! According to Jsport, they found that 255/60R18 has no rub issues whatsoever with a 35mm offset 18" wheel.

Just got these yesterday.

Wheels:
KMC KM707 20” - On the logo, the half of the K & MC is the same gray as my Passport and the other half of the K is the red my calipers will be painted next week!

Tires:
Michelin - Pilot (?) Sport All Season - 275/45/R20 - they’ve got about 3/4” rim guard!

My local Huntington Beach Honda/Acura specialists shop, Autowave has the OEM’s if you are interested in buying them...

Here you go folks.......
18 - KMC Heist Wheels, 35mm offset
255/60/18 - Nitto Terra Grappler
Tires a a bit louder then the stock continentals but overall, not that bad.

Love this new look.

Not a Passport, but its bigger brother.

Winter tire/wheel package- Sport Edition U2 17x7.5 +40mm offset with 245/65/17 Michelin Latitude X-ice Xi2. Bought it from Tire Rack, perfect fit, no issues, gas mileage is identical to 18" OEM.

Maybe once every two-three years will I venture deep into winter-time New England; and even then my chances of hitting real bad crud are minimal.

My last truly bad experience was in Dec 2003 (funeral), with 27" of fluffy snow eventually deposited on the ground. While I was rattled my FWD CRV (with southern tires) handled it very well. Knowing it was coming I left my preferred daily driver RWD pickup behind.

While not ideal I believe our Passport (driven with consideration) will get us through the crud. I shan't be spending $2K+ for better wheels/tires. YMMV.

Hi,
just put on Bridgestone 265 50 20. to replace Terrible Continental. 265 45 20 that came on PP

went to tacomaworld.com and they have a calculator to see what the speedo says and what is the real speed with new tires.

about .05 mph faster at 20 mph and almost 2 mph faster at 65 mph.

At 65 mph on speedo Im doing 67 mph

don’t
think I need to be worried about being pulled over by police for speeding. Or spending a lot of money to calibrate.
Hope this helps.

I'm pulling the trigger on 17s with 245/70R17 because of the long rough roads in baja. 18s probably look a little better, but function over fashion in this case. Going with the Black Rhino Overland wheels but haven't decided on tires yet. I'll post when mounted.

My girl just got some love... for $300 the set of 4 practically new... 18x8 XD
BTW.. these were on a 07 Cadillac XLR
18x8 5x4.75 (120mm)
I am not a tire installer by a long shot...but seen many go on while waiting at America’s Tire.
Shouldn't you put the tire on the wheel, then balance it, then put it on your car? ?

Aside from that, those are a vast improvement over the OEM’s!
