Wonder if other 2020 Honda Passport owners are having problems with dropped calls and a chirping background sound every time use use the radio or phone? I first recognized the problem in June and the background chirp is getting increasingly more intense and irritating and the late phone call I made was dropped 8 times. This is unacceptable in a car that is almost $40,000 and only one year old.
I own a 2020 EXL AWD PP with the same problem, bought it new last november with only 8 miles and it's got 5k now. The problems started a few months after I got it, with crackling, popping noise from speakers when radio is on, when on a call it drops constantly, this issue comes and goes. I took it to the dealership last Aug and dealer later said the infotainment connectors are faulty, needs replacement. Dealer will call me back when new parts are in and it'll be fixed under warranty. I've been waiting ever since, called a while back and was told the parts are on "Backorder" apparently there's a queue to get these PP fixed? As it is, I am not making important calls while phone is connected to the car, I keep the radio off for the most part as well. I'll give the dealer a few more weeks then I'm calling Honda corporate. If you have not brought you PP in to the dealership yet, I recommend you do it soon. Good luck.
