Just curious, seems to be many don’t like the 20s?
I do not only because of the ease of rash! In 46 years of driving I’ve never scratched a rim unless road debris hit during driving like a rock.

Because of how large the Passport is I prefer the look of the 20's, they seem to have the proper scale. My preference as an owner is 18" because the roads in Missouri are not the best and mine goes on gravel roads and minor off-roading. I wish it was easier to fit larger tires without having to cut the fender wells in the front.

If Honda provides better OEM tires such as Pirelli Scorpion or Michelin Cross Contact with slightly higher profile tires such as 265/50 R20 or 275/45/R20, then a lot more people may like 20 inch tires. The existing OEM 20 Continental Trash LX Sport-Trash at 265/45/R20 are lower profile and handle very rough leading to many complaints. I hated the OEM tires and they make Honda Passport ride poorly in my opinion. I just changed my tires yesterday, to the brand new, latest released Pirelli - Scorpion AS Plus-3 and trust me, it feels like a whole new Passport with superb handling, much better braking and comfort (soaking bumps softer now).

True. But.......... if you had 265's on 18" rims, you would need a higher aspect ratio in order to get the same diameter, which would add more sidewall flex. Better for off-roading, worse for handling.

Everything is a tradeoff. And they will never make everybody happy.

Just curious, for those of you who bumped up from 265/45/20 to 265/50/20, what are you doing regarding the spare tire? From everything I've read, AWD transfer cases can be damaged when using a tire that is smaller than the other 3.

I bumped up to 265.50.20 Not too worried about it. I'm usually near a tire shop.

Love the 20" on our Exl! Imo 18" look tiny. Sure if you are doing any hefty off-roading 18" are needed but with upgrading the tires, as I did, to 265.50.20, there is plenty of sidewall.
Love how these look , do they ride well? No wheel rub? I love the 30” oem wheels on my 2021 ex-l but would like a bit more better tread for getting up gravel and fire roads for camping .
